Requirements
Job Overview:
Work on ships and offshore platforms to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Dynamic Positioning (DP) and marine automation systems. Global travel required on short notice.
Experience Required:
0–2 years’ maritime/automation experience
Knowledge of DP systems, navigation control, marine automation
Hands-on troubleshooting skills; C/C++ knowledge preferred
Experience with Kongsberg Maritime products is an advantage
Familiarity with maritime standards (preferred)
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good English communication
Self-driven, quality-focused, team-oriented
Knowledge of systems software/computers (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of DP systems
Troubleshoot and repair automation systems offshore/onboard
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
Provide technical support and training to clients
Document service work and prepare reports
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Support escalation and identify sales opportunities
Travel:
Extensive worldwide travel on short notice; valid travel documents required.
